RB.

Another place you can look for the 2400 is a lapidary Club or Lapidary supply company.

Can you explain how you strop the blade on leather?
Have you seen a barber strop a cuth throat razor?

its easy to do just some sideways strokes of the blade on the leather.

I've no idea what that is, but for some reason it's evoking images of strippers and whipped cream...

Thanks!

Ausie, what'cha think about this stuff?

http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares...oduct&ID=60472

They say equivalent to 10,000 grit, but I wish they listed the stuff by grit instead of microns, so I knew what all was in the pack

They also have some up to 12,000 grit stuff. Prices are definitely right.

Well I've learned something new today,I'm going to give it a try for myself and see what happen's .I've been wondering how you guy's sharpen your broadheads . I don't think this will work for the crimson Talon's ,but i won't be buying anymore of them anyway's .If I rap a piece of wet dry on a flat piece of hardwood ,would this work o.k. or do you just put it on a flat surface?

I just lay it on my desk at work. Any hard flat level surface should suffice.

get your mind out of the gutter

lapidary is that art of turning rocks and gems into jewellery in other words polishing your rocks.
