Sharpening Broadheads

RE: Sharpening Broadheads
If they are replaceable blade heads just buy replacement blades. If they are a two blade design, like a magnus, they sell sharpening kits with files and stones at pre-set angles to get the correct edge on them.

If my blades aren' t bent or dinged I use a small diamond hone to sharpen them. If it' s done with care you can get them scary sharp with a little work. I always test them for sharpness when I' m done & they get real sharp.

I use 100 gr Thunderheads with replaceable blades. Their tech expert told me it is scientifically impossible to get them any sharper. So I just replace them. I use the ones I replace for practice.

I shoot one piece, fixed blade heads and use just a file to get them shaving sharp. Here' s a link to an article that gives a good " how-to" .
