Selway:

If this is your interpretation of "the" method, I think I see why you're having problems. IMPO, you might want to look up a 'good' archery coach who can personally evaluate your set-up.
but the bottom of the nock should come to the corner of your mouth with a staight line up to your eye with a staight line to your peep. witch makes a ninty degree to the string. when your a little back you lose this ninty degrees to the string.head tipped back a little

Selway, the wingspan method means squat to a bunch of us archers.I don't know many that have been to a coach and had the coach evaluate what draw they need to be shooting for competition have the wingspan method match.I for one am a little over an inch past what the wingspan method shows and a little less than what a coach says. But I busted 13, 11's today on a very tough 3-d course. We must find what best works for us and forget what books and charts say.Form is the critical issue and being consistant with that form.

BTW, I wasn't at all referring to the windspan method. That's secondary to how I interpreted your statement. The "method" I was referring to was your method for determing good shooting form. For me, or anyone, to try to analyze your shooting methods over the internet, IMPO, is a 'Catch 22' situation.
Anyway, have fun.
