Gearhead......Its tough to say. I had an Ultratec and it balanced well with an 8", but you can go up to 12" in Hunter class and you might like the steadier hold a longer model might give you.......Like Rangeball said it is tough to buy a stabilizer sight unseen, but if you can get your hands on a few of similar weight and length in another brand or in something you have lying around its possible to make informed purchases.
Plus like I said, the stabilizer is built with a 60/40 weight forward style......if you find it a bit front heavy you can flip it around and bring the majority of the weight tighter to the riser.
I had the luxury of having quite a few different models lying around prior to buying sight unseen so I had a pretty good idea about what weight and length I needed.
I don't doubt that Jerry would let you exchange a purchase for one in a different length or weight if you found it didn't balance properly.....but that you will have to ask him.

Yes that the problem I'm having right now, like Rangeball has mentioned. I have a 11.5 kyber which drops the bow to fast for my liking and I have a 6.75 factory hoyt which works alot better, but what I have heard about the slealth I'm very much interested in buying, but no one carry's them in my area, so it either the 6" or the 8". decision decision. I'm starting to get a headache thinking about this, but i will prevail. Thanks everyone.

Gearhead! If you want to order a Stealth stabilizer....and are wondering if I will exchange it for a different length, that would not be a problem! If you decide a different length and weight will balance your bow better,Im here to help!
Stealth stabilizers are sold, almost exclusively on the internet,so its not likely that they will show up in your local pro shop anytime soon, they are not mass produced, they are "HAND MADE" in my shop, one at a time!

Jerry: You surely won't get many Dealers wanting to stock your products with the exclusivity statement that you made. It might be nice to determine where a potential customer resides and to direct them to a local Dealer. I, for one, would appreciate this since I do stock and promote your product quite a bit.

I just got the one I ordered, a 6" Hunter model. I tried it on the two bows that I have right now, a Darton Viper and a Merlin Shadow.

The Viper was already a quiet bow, with little recoil for a two cam. The Stealth seemed to make a difference, but since it was not a noisy bow with vibration and such, the difference between the Stealth, and my other setup, an Enhancer 2000 and a Vibracheck Hydraulic, was small - but it was better!

The Merlin is a two cam model that has more noise and recoil. It is similar to my Darton CPS bows, with just a bit more vibration than the Maverick. The Stealth made a bigger difference on the Merlin, making it noticeably quieter and reducing the recoil and vibration. IMO, it made about the same difference on this bow as when I put the NV system on the Maverick. That seemed to cut the recoil and what little vibration there was (the Mav. seemed to just go "thunk" and not really vibrate much at all). I really would like to have the Maverick to try with this stabilizer to see how it would work. Considering the fact that a Stealth stabilizer costs less than half the cost of the combo of the Enhancer 2000 and the NV system, I would say it is worth checking out.

My Viper is now as quiet as any bow that I have personally shot, including the two Mathews bows I owned. The Stealth stabilizer was well worth the $ IMO.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Avoid the inevitable until it is absolutely unavoidable!
