RE: Stealth Stabilizers
I have the 6" one and now that it is actually a little further out due to my STS front mount adapter it balances beautifully. Nubo now uses an 8" and prefers that on his Patriot. Buy Both

RE: Stealth Stabilizers
That's right I have had the 6" and thought it was the answer to my dream's but once I got the 8" I realized this was the one I should have had in the first place .I found that the 8" gave me a definetly steadier arm for shooting and holding .The 6" was great but I just found that the 8" gave me that much more .The Stealth has a heavy end and a light end which is better when you need the extra obsorption of any vib's,if the heavy end is mounted closest to your riser, but if your bow is pretty much vibration free you might choose the heavy end out for more balance. The Stealth is the best Stabilizer for me it's nice to have the option of balance and vibration dampening all in one .

RE: Stealth Stabilizers
i shoot a 8" on my patriot. why? it was on sale. can't really compare it to a 6", but i love it. it replaced a 4" sims with the extra dampener on the end. made it seem like i hadn't even had a stabilizer/dampener on before.

RE: Stealth Stabilizers
I have a 6" on my Patriot Dually and like it a lot. I would be curious to try an 8" for comparison if I could get my hands on one, but I ususally prefer a shorter stabilizer for hunting. For 3D I add on a Doinker Suppression Mount so the stabilizer is balanced better. I guess it all depends on what you want to use it for. If it's for hunting only 6" will be fine. If you want it for target and hunting without adding something else try the 8" one. Either way you won't be disappointed.
