Stealth Stabilizers ?
 

I have heard wonderful things about the steath stabilizers from other people on this forum and I'm getting ready to give my money to Jerry, Just wondering if anyone out there has put this stabilizer to the test and what size they are using for hunting and 3-d. Thanks

Gearhead......the testing that I did with the Stealth stabilizers is no joke. (just ask my wife who I recruited against her will as a helper :))
There are many GOOD stabilizers on the market, but what I found is that the Stealth stabilizers were better than all that I tested even the SIMS big ones, and I think SIMS makes some great hunting products.

I'm sort of a stabilizer nut, and I think I've tried every big name style currently in production and a few that are no longer being made equalling literally dozens of stabilizers and the Stealth is tops in my book.

Remember a stabilizer's first function should be balance, and the Stealth ones are very helpful in getting the balance you want combined with the other attributes........you can get them in basically any length or weight you could need, and you also have the ability to swap ends bringing the majority of the weight closer to the riser if you should change overall balance thru changing accessories etc.

I know its hard to believe that one stabilizer could be that noticeably better, so its something that you have to try to believe.......I have yet to hear of a single person who purchased one say they weren't impressed.

And oh yeah I almost forgot.......supposedly Jerry made the entire line BETTER by changing the granular mix? If they really are better than what I tested , I guess I'll have to drop a hint to the wife for a stocking stuffer? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

When I got to my pro shop with my new stealth stab all the guys were asking about it. I even let the owner put it on his bow & shoot with it. After that he had one of the guys go & get all the different kind of stabs they had & we opened them & shot them all.

Many Tranquilizers, many X-rings, Archers Choice, Archers Choice & Doinker combo, Doinker, 2 NAPs ShotBlockers, carbon impact and a few others. It was more than apparent to all of us that Jerry’s Stealth was the best. Jerry Sanford is the owner, designer, & maker of the Stealth’s. I think JeffB did a major review on these a while back, that is what got me to buy one. Jerry will even make you a custom weight & size if you want it.

I have never seen one so I have never tried one. There are several stabilizers out there that are good. I have also seen other stabilizers to use a combo of powder/piston fluid technology. the main thing is to try out the various types out there & see what you like best with your bow.

I forgot to mention......in addition to all the single cam and dual cam bows I've tried the Stealth on, I also had a chance to try it on a friend's Darton Rampage with the CPS cam. Against every other stabilizer the Stealth was easily the best model on this particular bow. Removing a large % of noise , vibration and shock......as smooth as this CPS cam system draws ,it has some snap to it when fired and the Stealth really tamed it nicely. Considering how well it performed on a bow with the CPS cam , it should be equally as as good on the new 2003 Hoyt &quot;Cam 1/2&quot; model bows.
Although the Stealth stabilizers worked better than all others I own on the single cam bows I tested (Mathews style perimeter wtd, Redline or BowTech post feed).......Where the Stealth made the most noticeable difference was on the dual cams and the Darton CPS I mentioned above......considering what seems like a trend toward the &quot;Hybrid&quot; style or dual cam altogether these Stealth stabilizers should be a top choice among the 2003 BowTech Duallys, Darton CPS, and the new Hoyt &quot;Cam 1/2&quot;.

Hi this is Gearhead, I have narrowed it down to the 6&quot; or the 8&quot; for the hunter class with my Ultratec, which one do you think will balance this bow the best. Again thanks for information

Also, if you're gonna order a stabilizer sight unseen or unfelt, how do you determine what exactly you need and would work best for your individual bow?
