I went hunting this afternoon in the rain and i saw the most deer i have ever seen in one hunt. at about 4 i heard somthing come crashing out of the woodsand it was 2 does being chased by a 150 inch...

i did not try for this shot..not really sure what happened but i had never seen a blood trail like this....i shot him in a cornfield and he ran about 200 yards across the field to the woods and piled...

Give me some ideas on where to hunt the late season....keep my stands in the same spots or put new ones up or what...i can hunt everything outlined in green. thered is the bedding area and the blue...

when would u stop using your decoy? i mainly use mine when hunting a fencerow between bedding area and food source just to get the deer to travel my path on the fencerow instead of another....it has...

actually that is where i hit him....he was standing behind my decoy and i waited on him to step out and i dont know if he turned or steped back on the shot or what but it was one easy tracking job

thanx for the input from both sides!! i think im going to go with the camcorder this year. My buddy has a rangefinder that i can take and range and mark the trails i have any question about.

i can watch the deer from a very safe distance from the roof of the house across the highway. i cant hunt the woods and fencerow to the west of the bean field but i dont think it gets much activity...

i can hunt the woods to the west also but i have not seen and sign....all the sign i have found is out of that corner where i have the stand...also directly behind the stand is railroad tracks....so...

no this is my first one also...i used the throw and grow as well....i put 2 out one just inside a fence row off a field and one in about 20 yards in a woods around a good rub line and dedicated fence...

i put one out today...i just raked all the vegatation from the area and used a broadcast spreader. The bag just said to use a spot where it gets atleast 6 hours of sun a day

my drenalin shot 287 fps today with a 400 grain arrow and a 100 grain fieldpoint. im a 27inch draw and it was maxed out ...thought that was pretty good
