Thanks, I had seen it and have talked to the guy. Its a little over priced and IMO has a cheap scope on it.

Yeah, we love it! I got about 350 pounds of meat off a cow and its great. When it runs out I may just have to go shoot another one.

Hunted buffalo last fall, it wasn't too hard of a hunt, pretty easy really,and I can see where they were almost wiped out. I shot mine out of group of 20 or so and at the shot they just stood there....

Pure and smiple, economics, $$$, I can't keep hunting like I want to and pay the taxidermy bill. LaRita and I already have 15 or 16 animals at the taxidermist plus these 2 and we leave in 3 1/2...

Yeah, that helps a lot. I've got a 35whelen shooting 225gr TXSs at just under 2600 fps that I'm planning on using. I'm from Alabama, never been to Alaska, so I'll have to use a guide.

I did one better, I called them and talked to them. But I agree with you, for me it isn't the best deal going. Have you looked at Jack Hume? I've talked to them also and haven't heard a bad thing...

I'd recommend reading "One man, one rifle, one land" by JY Jones. He did it all with the same 30-06. BTW hope you got some deep pockets. The sheep alone could cost $100,000. I've hunted 8 taking 7...

Plus a couple of other fees... You'll spend around $400 canadain before you walk out the door. BTW they will only take canadain money for tags, lic. and gov. fees.

In North America, antelope is just plain fun but I also like black bear hunting.

As to african game, I love hunting blue wildebeest. I've taken 3 so far and hope to take a few more someday.
