Yah I agree what is wrong with the outback, if you are looking for a used Mathews it would be a switchback or switchback xt a drenalin or a slighltly used dxt. I always liked the outback.

I have done it as well and it is not ideal for fingers, I just could not get it tuned using fingers. You should probably look towards a different containment system.
