I paid about $68 for a Stealth Cam at Wal-Mart and have no complaints. Left the batteries in for 24 days and still did not see a low battery light. I don' t blame the camera for not taking more...

Rangeball' s comment is right on- 4 guys @ $500 and 600 acres is a good deal. Whithout knowing the lay of the land- saying 50 acres per person isn' t quite right... doubltful that all 600 acres are...

Just bought one at Dick' s Sporting Goods for $30... 4 sections, total assembled length is 16' . Had some climbing sticks (ol' man) and really did not like them. Think this one is a hunter...

Best thing I did with a hog I shot was a skull mount... think they' re also known as European mounts. Bascially get all the flesh, etc off and have a nice skull with some tusks.

To keep from wasting film on my ugly mug I come up from the backside of the camera and flip the cover open from the flank... never get in the range of the sensor.

I' d say 12-15 feet is my usual. I' ve had deer under me when I was only about 12' off the ground. I usually can' t find a tree where I can get above 15' anyway.
