The pieces length ??? Dont cut them first - make a little bending jig and cut a rebar into 3 - pieces.... bend a step THEN cut it off... it is MUCH easier that way..... Its ok if ya screw up a few steps... I did !! By the way - they dont have to be all the exact same..... just close - width is most important.......

Just bought one at Dick' s Sporting Goods for $30... 4 sections, total assembled length is 16' . Had some climbing sticks (ol' man) and really did not like them. Think this one is a hunter specialty brand- using the crap out of the past week and really happy with it.
