I shoot a whisker biscuits and my 2" blazer vanes are more accurate than my long vanes. You get a few longer fPS with them and they last much longer.

In my experience, pigs don't hear good enough to make calling effective. The only pig call I use is a grunt call that calms them down when I gave to break brush to get into bow range.

Like said earlier, shot placement is much more important than broadhead choice. Personally, I like rage 2 blades, but that's just what shoots in my setup. If fixed bades work in yours, shoot them.

Ya its real tough. Its a big deal when you get one with a bow. Got my first archery deer a few days ago and it took a bunch of hours hunting to get it. Totally worth it though.

Rage 2 blade. They aren't the best at penetration but you don't need it if the animal only goes 40 uards. Plus they're really accurate with my setup.
