Thanks. I was thinking the mineral blocks would probably be best.

They are legal in Kentucky. Besides, they will not be hunted over, only out for a little added deer nutrition.

I am getting ready to put out some blocks for licking sites on my property because I know that the deer mainly use them in the early spring when they are in need of minerals and nutrients for summer...

A friend of mine showed me that buck saturday, onion721. Said it was killed around where he hunts in Southern Indiana. He is about 99% sure it is a buck that he missed last year in early bow season.

My guess would be around 120-125. Not sure why, but when I first looked at him I thought of the name "Fork-lift." Might be because his main beams kind of go upward.

You are close on the spread. He was a little over 16 inches inside spread. Not so close on the G2's. The shortest G2 was 12 inches and the longest was closer to 14 inches. I still dont have him back...

I would say that we are still a few weeks away where I hunt in KY. I havent even seen any rubs or scrapes yet. Bucks will probably start moving a little more by next weekend with a cold snap next...
