absolutly everything.

the quiet
the noise
the solitude
the wildlife
the smell
the boring times
the exciting times
the sadness
the fact that i am part of the natural way the world used to be.

The peacefulness, the suspense, the thrill of getting in their home without them knowing, the crunching of the leaves that gets your heart beating hard, and the harvest!

Everything, I can be stressed out in a rush pissed off an as soon as I get outta the truck or sit in the stand everything goes away. I can breathe be easy and not have any worries. The woods are a place of solitude and peace.

Getting away from the craziness of the city during the work week. The way your heart races when a buck comes closer-and closer to your stand. Most of all, just spending time with family.

A chance however briefly to see and feel America under a younger sky.

(Wish it were my original sentiment but the early writer upon seeing a buck expressed it well.)

For me the woods are always welcoming, any discomfort is on me, it is it and i am me,natures guest.

When I'm out in the woods and I see the night sky with all it's stars, I am in awe. My hatred towards others vanished. I am at peace...
