I would stay away from the lighter grained ballistic tip. They tend to be a bit fragle in the lighter wieghts. Wich ever of the two shoots the best from your gun otherwise. I would lean twords the...

maybe confused with 30-30? .270 is an optimal sort of cailber that has been well proven and is almost identical to the 30-06. If you own one that not much point in owning the other.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it is a nice load, low recoil and it prints 3/4-1/2 inches at 100 so very good for a light barreld hunting rifle

the ballistic silvertip is a rapid expansion bullet, however in the 150 and 160 gr and up are of a heavier jacket but wil still provide judicous expansion. Great bullet, has killed many a deer
