Generally doesn't happen unless something other than soft tissue is damaged. Otherwise you'd have woods full of nontypicals due to cuts and such from fighting.

Just looked through both of them in the store...seem to have a distinct advantage. Wish I could look through them in twilight conditions. The zeiss does seem to be a smidge sharper and the crosshairs...
