Like every one else you could cover more area with the pop up but if you make a box stand make it at lease 4'X6' for two people. Most all of ours were 4'X4'. Me and a hunting buddy are in the process...

With 6 people hunting 80 acres you are just looking for an accident to happen!!! 100 acres per hunter is what our Fish & Game suggest for safety reasons.

With the settings you have now try setting your sensor to Low and give it a try. If it still does it I think you might have to return the camera for repair.

When you hook up your remote & turn on the camera look at the top rt. corner of the display it will show you your battery powder.
