This is an opinion thread boys, and i wantone straight answer from each of you.

Things that matter:

Picture quality
Trigger time
Battery Life
Ease of use
Reliability

Things that DO NOT MATTER (so dont judge based on)

Price
Size
Company
Popularity

I want to know what you think the BEST trail camera on the market is. Period.

Caleb,

You do realize the firestorm that you will probably create with this type of question don't you? Let me the first. Based on your criteria, I would have to say Reconyx, hands down. I've heard and readalot of positves on the Buckeye cam, another pricey one, but I don't have any firsthand experience with them.

Blessings and peace......Pastorjim

Preditor IR ~ Cause the BloodBro said so...

I can't give an honest answer, as I haven't researched them for myself.
However, ask this again after the 1st of next year and I may have an opinion??

If you got the money, then the high end Reconyx or BuckEyeCam. If money is tight, mid range would be ScoutGuard or Bushnell Trophy cams......

Reconyx, the best of the best. Super fast trigger time, excellent image quality, great battery life.... as good as they get!

I'dlove to add one of the new Reconyx/Mathews 1080HD editions to my cam arsenal this year as well

My favorites are the Trail Watcher 2035, StalkerCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1 and Bigfoot SLE.
