I just boughtan Optix ME (last years version of the XR). The floating pin is assembled under tension andmakes no noise.

What I found is the other pins can vibrate if you don't take up the slack...

My dealer called and said he ordered the parts today. The factory is about 5 days by UPS to Indiana, so he said the parts should be here late next week. If that happens, I will be VERY pleased.
