Not bragging..but in 5 days of hunting our crew of 3 guides see between 100-125 Bears...all spot & stalk...BC Bear Hunts !!!!

I actully posted it tonight all over and I have a list of guys that would love to come to Canada and meet all these Outfitters and film. We would trade some advertising...and there are some spin offs...

Actually, we here in BC joke about the the Island Bear clasification...on average they don't kill any larger Bears than on the mainland. They simply focus on their Bear Hunts. That is what they have...

Canada certanly has excellent Bear hunts..I firmly believe that you get what you pay for....Once in a while there may be a bargin..but Outfitters know their product.Jim Shockey gets the most of...

In BC there is no emphisis on weight...It is skull size and true squared of the hide.We guess at weight...but don't know....Spring is 150 lbs under fall weight...but they aren't fed donuts like...

Glad to hear that Zakle, Your kids are a great age to take. I guided several Father / Son groups on spot & stalk Bear hunts and it was a blast watching the kids, but even more was watching the Dads...

What is the general feeling about the US economy ? We have never seen the US dollar so low...

Would this affect hunters wanting to come to BC Canada ? If Outfitters go to Canadian Funds ?

Yes it is true...The Boars will kill cubs if they get a chance...Mom will chase them up a tree....Big Boars can't climb well. Thats why big Boars will run and run when they are ran by...

What I suggest is find a good Coyote Hunting Outfitter..The run somewhere around 200 per day...you will learn more this way than years of trial and error...

stubblejumper, from Prince George down the populations are OK. We were not hit as hard...You have to get below that pass...It will take 10 years to get it back to what it was....sad ..

Stubblejumper you are correct, although those Northern BC Outfitters had a hard time this fall. The Moose got hit hard last winter with a huge impact on both Moose and Elk in some regions up North....

I should have clarified that Island Bears have their own hibernation habits..I understand that some island Bears do not even go in...much like some of our Grizzlies.
