The travel restriction are a pain having to get passports but I promised both of my boys 12 & 15 a bear hunt in Canada this year so that's where we're going.

Glad to hear that Zakle, Your kids are a great age to take. I guided several Father / Son groups on spot & stalk Bear hunts and it was a blast watching the kids, but even more was watching the Dads !

If I'm going some where far away to hunt, I'd pick AK. again. No problems getting there, along with no problems getting my weapons there. PLUS, I have relatives there to visit also.

Well Adam, that passport issue is going to affect this "average" working Canadian also. I`m hoping to go visit T/C Fan in Kentucky this spring. I have to wait three or four months forthe passportat the cost of $80.00.

Alaska can bebig money for Moose. If you want to take a beautiful bull 45 - 65 inches choose rack lake outfitters in Newfoundland or PortlandCreek OutfittersNewfoundland. I took a 45 inch bull..actually on 9/11/01 in Newfoundland. Newfoundland is some gosh darn awesome country. You can go there and back with a sweet bull out the door for $3500.
