They can't stay hidden forever Royak! I have that problem in rifle season, I get sometimes 7 bucks around my treestand within 75 yrds in bow season and when rifle rolls around I am lucky to see one...

Anywhere from 100yrds to 1/2 mile from my house. I have shot deer (with my bow)as close as 30 yrds from my house from inside the barn.Love that hay loft!!!

Ditto also! If there is enough water in the creek you could use a small boat or rubber raft to infiltrate the thicket without a trace of scent strung out the woods. Good Luck!
