Had the same issue, but used electrcal tape on the prongs and it works great...so far. Also, I'm noticing a sound from the string itself. Sounds like a weak bass guitar at the shot, anyone else...

My ground blind consists of a roll of chicken wire with cattails and grass threaded through it. It takes a while to make, but it's cheap. Also works well for duck hunting!

I've got a Gorilla stand with the hammock seat, and I love it, my legs stay awake, and I don't have to deal with a pad or get a sore ass. Plus when I want to stand up I can slide it back ( silently)...

I've used luminoks the last 2 yrs and they have been touchy for me as well. They work some of the time, but not all the time.I haven't tried any others yet, but think it might be time.

The past few years I've tried it...put my clothes in a bin and threw dirt and fresh cut pine tree twigs in there.

Didn't seem to hurt me since I had plenty of close encounters.

Hunt mostly Pine County, but the in-laws have land by Hibbing and a cabin SE corner of Leech.

Looking to try some bowhunting at Leech this fall if the ducks aren't flying, is there any way a guy...
