Also the end of the rope, that goes through the rest Do you burn the end of the rope for added insurance

I have 0 noise when I draw mine back...I just looked and am not sure where it would come from. When does it make the noise? When you first start drawing or just when it gets to its full up position.

As for the cord, I leave extra and loop it back up and serve it sbove the arm so that I don't have to use the set screw.

What is making noise as you draw back? Is it the rest itself or the arrow sliding on the rest? I have some felt on the prongs to keep the arrow from making noise and mine is silent.

I just tied a small knot in the string that was left over. I figured that way I could have it in the event that I put it on a different bow.

I put some moleskin on the my rest to quiet it down. Not sure if thats the answer your looking for.
As for the string i just let it hang there.

Yep a smal piece of moleskin done the trick - whisper quiet drawing

Good suggestions on the string, will probably tie a knot in it and leave it

thanks

Here's a pic of my set up. No noise from this at all. Quietest Drop away I've ever shot!

Mole skin on mine to quiet it down. On the string I tied a knot tight to the arm then burned it so the knot wouldn't come loose.

Had the same issue, but used electrcal tape on the prongs and it works great...so far. Also, I'm noticing a sound from the string itself. Sounds like a weak bass guitar at the shot, anyone else notice this or do I have rabbit ears.

Setup correctly you will have no sound issues.
