Well, you can always go up to 300gr XTP with H110, but lilgun seems to handle heavier bullets better. Put you well over 1000ft-lbs.

I have not checked the speed yet but I have loading the 250 Gr. Nosler Partition with 296 powder. When I check them withthe chrongraph I can post the load and the velocity.

BigCountry:

I use a Boar-Slammer 300 gr. WLN GC on top of 24.5 grs. of Win. 296 Vel: 1450 f/s. 1400 ft/lb. Good luck.

I like a 200gr. XTP with 22gr. of 2400 powder. That gives me 1650fps out of my 629 classic with mod. recoil. That load is very accurate for me with a lot less drop than the 240's will give. It's a very good pig load but too much for deer. I think I used Win. cases and Win. Primers. Good luck to ya.

2400 Is an excellent powder for the 44 Mag. I also use IMR 4227 and H 4227. For lighter bullets, I couldn't live without Unique.
