Default .41 Magnum Loads

For several years now, I've been loading 21.0 gr. 4227 with 200 gr. Speer JHP's, and thought it was a pretty good, stout load. I've never seen any signs of excess pressure, or had any trouble with it in my Blackhawk.
Just wondering what y'all might be loading for your .41 Mags. Oh, yeah---it shoots good, too------.

I was hoping you'd get some responses to your post, I'd kind of like to hear what others are using for comparable handgun calibers.

I just started reloading for my pistol, so not much experience. I'm reloading a 44 mag, using 22 gr Win 296 to push a 240 gr JHC. The std dev is very tight with this load, although I don't have it in front of me at the time. Velocity is @1350 fps.

I had acceptable pressure from 22-23.5 gr. The consistency and accuracy of each was good - I did not have the intention of pursuing a 'great' reload recipe for this gun. I was looking to identify a recipe quickly, that was consistent and safe.

Much like KareImp I'm new to reloading and was looking for a quick recipe what would be safe.
My Load right now is 11.5gr of Blue Dot under a 215gr Lead SWC usind Rem 2 1/2primers. It's a nice middle of the road load that "feels" just under the heavy factory loads. I don't have a chrono so I have no idea what speed or Std Dev is. I can go up to 13.5 safely and with a good conscience and it is noticable hotter than factory loads in my S&W 57. From what I read you either love or hate blue dot as a pistol powder. I only know two things: Even with 13.5gr it doesn't even come close to filling the case...and it was free (and so for now, I'm stickin' with it)

Oh, these are for 41mag...not 44.

When I was reloading 357 magnum.

The load I used the most was

6 gr Hercules Unique with 158 gr round nose lead,
Winchester primers.

I like the med range loads.
