Have you tried hunting archery in an area that is 90% forested with only 8 DPSM?

I don't have the time you must. While i do some archery hunting on public ground.
I don't have a accurate number of dpsm. Just do my scouting and put in as much time as i can.

Hunting in PA varies from poor to very good depending on where you are hunting so it is hard to know what other hunters are experiencing based on what is posted on the net.

I don't agree with all of your opinions but I doubt we're all that far off either. I consider you to be a notch or two above a reasonable whiner.Just kiddin
if you only believed that a cougar exist in your area you too could move up notch or too.

I rarely take pictures of the game I shoot but two years ago,I killed a gobbler with my bow and asked my wife to take a picture. It was early in the morning and she didn't feel like digging batteries out for the camera.Somehow, that feat didn't impress her.

anyone that takes a turkey with bow is something .its harder in woods with wild birds than the ones on privateland .my brother gets turkey every year on privateland,me it was not easy until they let dog hunt turkeys now.i had my turkey the first day with toby last year.................

"Cornelius seems to think it was for the sake of the eco-weenie,bird watching, tree hugging eco-extremist audubon types.Tell me again how the audubon profited."

I believe bt addressed it pretty well. And we've discussed this at length so Im sure you are well aware of audubons "goals" and they are 100% dependent upon deer herd decimation. They have bizarre visions of woodlots overflowing with wildflowers on every hillside, mature forests where the view is limited to below 50 yards, and other ridiculousness that they feel is how things "should be" with ridiculous completely unnatural levels of biodiversity even though those exact conditions within similar makeup forests do not exist anywhere in the nation. To summarize they want tons of trillium. Tons of hobblebush and are happy to have far fewer deer to get it.

On the other hand most hunters would like reasonable deer numbers and are satisfied with lower densities of hobblebush and other completely nonsensical bullchit.

Lets see....deer which pay the bills and are the number one game animal in the nation... Or more hobblebush? Pgc says hobblebush. I say current pgc nitwits need tossed on their duffs.

If you're correct and this is all the audubon's doing, how have they profited?I guess you agree with me that this isn't all about money.

No,and only a fool would try.If you find habitat that actually suits the deer, you'll find deer densities much higher than that, even in 2G.That's why so many people bitch about no deer. They hunt the same spots every year where they claim there's no deer.In most cases, they hunt where they can see the farthest.I see it every year.
