No,and only a fool would try.If you find habitat that actually suits the deer, you'll find deer densities much higher than that, even in 2G

No,and only a fool would try.If you find habitat that actually suits the deer, you'll find deer densities much higher than that, even in 2G.That's why so many people bitch about no deer. They hunt the same spots every year where they claim there's no deer.In most cases, they hunt where they can see the farthest.I see it every year.
most hunt same areas because they always have, me too. to go into another area which most likely will be just as bad hunting is not to smart also.if the deer were not overharvested like i see, there would be deer to see hunting.
5/10 years ago that is what they did.by having the big WMU we got hunters from all over coming to area i hunted for 45 years.they were only interested in killing as many doe as they could THEN MOVING ON.just like you say douge, kill deer off and move on.
now its hard to do that and we are not seeing those hunters as much now .they ruined my area i hunt and MOVED ON but now,no place to move on too.
having good habitat will not increase number of deer you see.look at SGL best habitat in world and worst hunting you will ever see.
why?like ole sproul has been saying,YOU CANT KEEP KILLING THE OVEN THAT BAKES THE PIE.
SPROUL HAS SPOKEN!!!!!!!

From the start of all this the Audubon knew the less hunters PA. had the more control of how our public lands are used they would have. They knew at some point that the hunters of PA. would not be able to foot the bill for the up keep of our 1 million + acres of game lands and when that time comes the Audubon/Eco Weenies will be waiting with a big smile on their face and a big check in their hands.
The Audubon Soc. are not friends to sportsman, Just ask the dove hunters of MI., The fisherman and waterfowl hunters of FL. and the surf fisherman of NC. and of course the majority of the hunters in PA. who have already realized this. Pike

you dont even have to go that far Pike. All one need do is go to the Pa audubon website pages and read them! They post some real garbage and their opinions of hunters isnt a very high one. They just want the dumb bubba hunters to kill the deer to further their goals of a statewide econut nirvahnna. Their goals are so outrageous and ridiculous, its no wonder some who havent looked into in depth have a hard time believing it..

But the problem is 52,000 hunters in 2G can't all hunt the areas with higher DD because if they did and they harvested over 30,000 deer like they did in 2003, they would reduce the DD to 4 DPSM. When are you going to grow up and start viewing the situation from the perspective of the majority of hunters, rather than judging it on the basis of the success of individual hunters?
