I believe bt addressed it pretty well. And we've discussed this at length so Im sure you are well aware of audubons "goals" and they are 100% dependent upon deer herd decimation. They have bizarre visions of woodlots overflowing with wildflowers on every hillside, mature forests where the view is limited to below 50 yards, and other ridiculousness that they feel is how things "should be" with ridiculous completely unnatural levels of biodiversity even though those exact conditions within similar makeup forests do not exist anywhere in the nation. To summarize they want tons of trillium. Tons of hobblebush and are happy to have far fewer deer to get it.

On the other hand most hunters would like reasonable deer numbers and are satisfied with lower densities of hobblebush and other completely nonsensical bullchit.

Lets see....deer which pay the bills and are the number one game animal in the nation... Or more hobblebush? Pgc says hobblebush. I say current pgc nitwits need tossed on their duffs.
