bearklr, you have one AMAZING imagination! I've done a TON of hunting and trapping in the area of Lycoming Co. that youspeak of and I can assure you that there are NO cougars there! There ARE some pretty awesome bobcats there, though! I'm guessing that's what you saw, and if memory serves me correctly, cougars DO NOT carry their kills into trees! I think you are confusing cougars and leopards!

the people who took this picture with nigh cam have taken picture to newspaper.on picture it has date which i did not see before,my mistake. it was taken at their camp in pottersdale,pa. on aug 21,2005. he is interviewing people that saw a lion. he said to a gas co. worker here in renovo, pa. that saw one in keating, pa.that he was the 119 th person he interviewed. 12 were DCNRemployees that saw a cougar.i am not inthat list ,so make it 120 ,but my sighting at 15 ft was in 1993 area in POTTERSDALE. SO, THIS COUGAR COULD BE AROUND 13 YEARS OLD.he was pup of about 45 pds when i saw him.he looks over 100 now.a lion expert i hear is going to be at the unified sportsmen of pa. meeting in milesburg ,pa. i think next month to talk on this.this is no HOUSE CAT OR BIG CAT.

The DNR can put Coyote, Mt Lion, and even Griz in Pa if they deem fit, the fact they are indiginous gives them the right and no law has to be passed.

Everyone who has been on this board for any length of time has seen the pic that Sylvan posted. It originally has a mule deer buck in front of the cat. Sylvan is being funny.
