Deer were moving like crazy early morning. My buddy had 11 around him, but his POS Knight didn't fire. He traded it in at the Angler on an Omega minutes later. Sighted it in, then saw tons of deer in the late afternoon..just to far away.

Again, deer were moving like crazy around me! Too bad some hilljack decided to sit on a log 50 yards behind me...then proceed to miss a deer..then decided to walk acrossed our land to see if he hit it. Moron....

On thebright side, saw tons of big does, and the big buck I saw late in bow season. Just couldn't get them close enough for a shot. The deer like to hole up in a woods nobody can hunt, but every now and then they come over to us.

BTW, yesterday I saw something I've never witnessed before! Two BIG does fighting! Every time the two got close to each other, they'd stand on their back legs and swing the front legs at each other..it was totally insane! My buddy first saw them doing it, so I had to get down and check it out. It was nuts! The one bigger one then tried to walk on a frozen pond, then fell down...and freaked out. It was some funny stuff.

I can't resist. This Colts game is fun to watch. I could be a running back against that defense.

GOBEARS!!!!!

It's time for Meeks and the ST coach (Russ Purnell?) to be fired. I wouldn't mind Dungy staying, but HAS to realize speedy midgets don't work too well in the NFL.

It will be tough, but Polian must find a way to keep Simon, Booger, and Reagor as our DT rotation next year. Move Brock to end on running downs, then Mathis back to special teams and rush specialist like years past. Also, Gardner shouldn't be allowed to fly home with the team...well...actually none of the LB's should.

I was in southern Indiana with the wife this weekend so didnt hunt. I stopped today at the Blue Crew Bar in Indy on the way home and watched the first half of the game and left. I pretty much agree with you Pat, although my patience with Dungy is pretty much gone too. Gettin beat is one thing, getting flat out embarassed with no emotion, no heart,no focus, no nothing, is a different story. Only way i want him back is if some major adjustments are made to his scheme with personnel as you were saying.

My opinion is that Dungy is the reason why Manning has not won a Super Bowl, let alone play in a Super Bowl. What happened when Dungy left Tampa Bay.....well, Tampa Bay won the Super Bowl with the same team that Dungy coached. For some reason, Dungy does not get his teams ready for the playoff games. The Colts have had some awesome offensive teams. There defense has not been very good, but last year they had the best all-around team they've had and the Colts should have won, but once again Dungy could not win in the clutch. I'm not a Colts fan, but I do live in Indiana and follow football closely and I think the Colts need a new coach.

The Polian show was a joke...although that's what I expected.

Anywho, I really hope I can get out hunting later this week...but sometime I gotta finish my xmas shopping. I haven't got 1 thing for the wife yet.

I had the BEST bowhunting season probably ever....that followed with the WORST firearms season ever...no we're to muzzleloader, hope it gets better, the deer seem to be moving better than in firearms.

Oh yea, I know they got stomped last night, but GO COWBOYS! Sorry, I know I live in IN, but I grew up a Boys fan!Long live King EMMITT!
