Very cold weather I have a pac boot. Lacrosse ice kings. As long as your not walking real far my feet have yet to get cold on sub zero days. With 1 pair of socks.
I agree, great choice.

It doesn't have to be. I have a set of Arctic Sports by The Muck Boot Company that are rated -40 to + 60.
They are light, completely waterproof, and you only need a regular pair of socks. They ran about $120. Just got back today from hiking 5 miles in almost a foot of snow. My feet were dry and toasty all day.
Truthfully, almost any decent boots, as long as your "walking or moving around a lot" will keep you warm. BUT!! When sitting in a deer blind or up in a treestand for hours on end in very cold weather "not" moving around, a insulated pak boot will be your #1 choice.

I am a communications contractor here in Montana who works outdoors all winter. Sometimes I stand for hours with these boots working in pedestals with my feet in snow. I also climb poles with these and am on poles for up to an hour where my feet only move inches.
These boots have proven to be the best for me at work or play .

Go with Cabela's Bruin boots in either 1600 or 2000 gram thinsulate they are extremly warm and comfortable. Also they are Gore-tex so there completly waterproof ive never had a better boot. Last year while huntin in -20 my feet never got cold

Sorel Glacier Boots. You can view these at www.sorel.com. I have hunted coyotes in Saskatchewan from -35 degrees celsius to -5. Have sat in these conditions hunting whitetails for hours on end and never got cold feet with just a pair of wool socks on. I have snowshoed with these on, been up and down every bad coulee hunting and never got a blister. Warmth, especially when sitting for long periods of time these are the best boots bar none this I promise.
