Which caliber is responsible for the most wounded deer?

I'd say it has a lot less to do with the caliber of the rifle and alot more to do with th caliber of who is holding the gun. I use a 300 win mag and never lost a deer with it, but I started off with a 243 and never lost a deer with it either...

Ah ! Now its the weapon of choice that does all the wounding to the the game we shoot is it! Balarny to those who stoop so low as to put the blame on the weapon. Who pulled the trigger or slipped the Bow string, yes it is i the very one who is holding my weapon![]
