Default wounded deer

have a question for people out here-- you have been hunting for one particular deer, you only can shoot one buck all year and a little buck walks by you and it is wounded do you take it or let it walk? just comment on it, personally i would take it but that is just me

Definitely a personal decision....and no wrong answer.

I've got two buck tags.....and I'd take the shot at the wounded buck. Ihad this exact scenario unfold, last season.

I guess it would depend on the wound---severe buck in pain take it!!! Flesh wound chance he will make it, let him walk!!!
But in real life where we can legal kill two bucks a day I would shoot him!!!

Kill the wounded deer, let it lay for the scavengers, call it a day.

There are so many wolves where I hunt, one would probabley be on its trail. I would wait and shoot the wolf. A wounded deer wouldn't last long. In fact I've found many eaten by wolves....... sometimes its like shed hunting

If I only had one tag......I would take the deer....HOWEVER....If I was marking that big buck and he was on my trail cams...and I knew he was in the area and opportunities were high.....I would then pass on the wounded buck....

In Michigan we get 2 tags so I would surely shoot this guy.
