For a hunting rifle, just shoot it. A gunsmith can do anything, but what if it shoots great right out of the box? Pillar bedding a rifle is a good thing to do, but if you decide after one season to replace thee stock, that was a waste of money.

IMHO mostnew guns can really use a lighter trigger. I have a couple of guns here that I am going to get the trigger done on. It really shows up as the gun heats up when target shooting. The last thing that you need when hunting is a stiff trigger to help throw your shot off when you least need it.

Other than the trigger, I won't touch anything else unless it has to be done. Never had to do anything more than the trigger on a 700 Remington.
