Don't know about the Talons but their cut-on-contact Viper venom flys great and got me 2 does this year.Great down range. Looks more durable than the Talons and has practicaly no bends....

Quick story about the Crimson Talons.
I hunted a ranch last year that had a 3-d target next to camp to shoot at. While I was flinging away I noticed a b/h & insert sticking out of the lower 2" of the front leg.
I removed it to find a Crimson Talon mangled up in the leg.

Funny part is, some "hunter" probably bought into the flies like FP hype without checking to make sure and only found out otherwise while on a hunt with 150" deer being a high possibility. (read- not cheap hunt)
