Just wanted to know if anyone had used these broadheads. And wanted to hear some reviews on them. And what broadhead you all use.

I use the XTs. They fly good, and produce a better blood trail IMO than any other fixed blade.

I use 100 gr 3 blade muzzy's but I saw tests done with the crimson talon heads and they did very well on the test.

When I bought a used Hoyt on Ebay, the seller gave me 6 of the Crimson Talon Raptors. These are the expandable ones. After using 1 of them for practice on a block type target the blades broke off after less than 10 shots. This was several years ago, they may have redesigned them, but after that experience I'm staying with 3 blade Muzzys.

I have had tremendous luck w/ the CTs. This year I will be shooting the XTs for the first time. Huge holes, incredible blood trails. Watched every animal go down w/in sight.
Definately under rated.
BUT, do not plan on using a used one again.... They either break or become to damaged to used on "quality" game. I have a couple set aside for squirrels.
