Default Crimson Talon broadheads

I was just surfing and came across these heads.Don' t know how well they would hold up but they sure look like they would be extremely easy to tune.

Has anyone tried these heads.

They sure look wild.Might have to give them a try.

They are pretty neat looking. If you shoot them, give us an update on them.

When it comes to broadheads, I got lazy years ago. I just keep on shooting the same one because it works so good for me.

Since going to the Rockets I have had no complaints either.Had some problems with Thunderheads several years ago.As far as getting broadheads to fly I havn' t ever really had any problems there either.

I am just wanting to try something new.

I don' t know what kind of excuse to tell the wife yet.I am sure I will come up with something.

Yeah nub.I did a search after I started this thread.

I agree with what some were saying. They are most likely a gimmick BUT they should,by design fly better. The angled blades work awesome for Rockets with flght and penetration.I read alot of their sales pitches on the site and most are just rediculous.

I would like to see the results of 5 shots test to see how well they hold up and if in fact they penetrate well. Some of the test are over the top but should give a good place to see how they MIGHT perform in the field.

There is 1 thing we shouldn' t forget about those gimmicks. They have sparked some very useful designs that work great. The 1 cam was a gimmick but has proven to be an eccelent choice for many hunters. The cam 1/2 is a gimmick that from my own experience can say is the best thing since sliced bread.Expandables are gimmicks but I love the Rocket Steelheads.

They look great, but will the flimsy looking blades cut through bone?
