Default any luck with ground blinds?

A buddy of mine just got a ground blind that mounts to his ATV and folds open when you're in location. It would be pretty nifty for ice fishing or maybe goose hunting but he said he might try it bowhunting. I think he's nuts but what do I know. Anyone ever used such a contraption? How about ground blinds in general? This is my first post so hello, all.

I used a ground blind a couple of times last year when I had to because there weren't any trees where I wanted to hunt. I had a few deer really close, but I like to hunt up in a tree where I can see better. As far as the deal that flops over the ATV, I would be concerned about the scent but it does like it would work good for ice fishing.

Hunting out of a ground blind is my favorite way (other then rattling). But I prefer to hunt out of natural ground blinds then the store bought tents.

I've mostly hunted from pop-ups for the last 4 years .
The concealment and portability are great .

This will be my first year trying a ground blind, do you guys shoot through the screen or remove it? They tell me it does not mess with your arrow flight?
