Well...my my my. Rcd567...Yes, I am a fan of Ted and his support for our hunting heritige. I too am college educated with a Bachelors Degree. I am well aware that criminal justice is very important to society, but, I am also well aware how easy it is to obtain a CJ degree compared to other degrees out there, but, their job is far more dangerous. I am not a teenager, but in my early thirties. I respect law enforcement officers to a high degree. In fact a good friend of mine was officer Sawyers who was recently killed in the line of duty by that slime Tim Berner. I feel your response to my posting to be very immature and lack luster of others in your profession. I feel you should take a deep breath and calm down. Besides, it sounds as if you were the one getting rilled up at my comment...you should heed your own advise on this matter, wisen up before you loose your cool and take it out on others. Ted, is one of the most supportive figures for law enforcement. As for danger...I was shot in the chest at the age of 13, an innocent bystander riding my bike when a drive-by shooting occured in northeast Detroit. As for Glenwood, Iowa...you have yet to see danger my friend compared to Detroit, MI area where Ted and I grew up. I can tell from your posts that you are not a backer of ol' Uncle Ted...that is your right. However, I do disagree with you on letting people like Ted have access to guns...he is a far better shot than most officers and millitary personel during their own drills (he has tons of money to allow him to shoot and practise whenever he wants). I was just getting at the fact that we should turn our attention toward fighting the anti's instead of preaching to ourselves. If we do that...then Ted wouldn't have to do it for us. That should make you happy. I like you using my quote...it actually shows how YOUR "perseption" comment you had made can be and is inaccurate, you perceived me as being a teenager...perseption isn't reality. Reality is reality. I knew you weren't ignorant sir...but if you support your comment..you could have been "perceived" to be ignorant on how Ted supports us. I think it would be best to not chastize others for how they act (as long as they do it legally), but to be thankfull to be able to disagree. I would never scream in the faces of the voters...as you have screamed in mine for my posting...I HAVE given profound information to voters in support of hunting and hunters rights. Like it or not...Ted supports hunting. We should embrace that and not criticize it. Yeah, his videos can be boring and show exotics...I do feel it is much better watching than any prime time show. But, where in the world did you see videos of Fred Bear for 25 cents?

I tell you what. I don't think that we need anti's to take us down we are taking are selves down all this bickerning and yelling has to stop. If we as a whole want to keep this tradition of are's going then we must stand and fight remember the saying "Togethor we stand But Divided we fall?". Well thats what is basiclly gonna happen in the future IMHO. Oh Ted rock wanna thank him for his sapport and like his show becuse he hunt exotics(Which I love LOL) but I prefer Team Fitzgerald Outdoors and A-Way Outdoors Better.

i think ted is awesome. he does a lot for hunters and thats good, but im tired of seeing a bunch of fenced animals walking to the automatic feeder, then picking the biggest one or closest one and shooting it. i think teds show is totally boring. but world wide, i beg to differ on team fitzgerald. that show really really bites

I am not a big fan of Ted's either. Like many others here I often wonder if he does more harm than good. I applaud his effort however, I wonder if it is having the desired effect. For example, my wife, was never around hunting until we met 4 years ago. In that time she has learned to watch and enjoy some hunting shows. She loves Realtree Roadtrips and watches it whether I am home or not. On the other hand she thinks Ted is a complete idiot. If she is coming away with that kind of attitude towards Ted and she knows what the hunting lifestyle is all about I can only imagine what the non-hunting public thinks of him.

WhackABuck, I think you need to go back and re-read the posts. You seem to be the one coming off angry and upset. It's great that you are such a big Nuge fan. However, some of us are not. Some people here think that since we are hunters that we are suppose to love everything about hunting, well I disagree. If someone that is a hunters sees something that they think is hurting rather than helping hunters then they have a right to speak up about it. You said most people here wouldn't stand up and fight for hunting but that is exactly what many here feel that they are doing. The difference is that you don't like what is being said. That is a pretty weak generalization anyway. To say that people won't stand up and fight for the hunting rights because they don't like Ted Nugent........lmao......you have got to be kidding me. You can't force people to like hunting. All you can do is respresent hunting well and hope they respect you as an idividual and hope that they convey that to the rest of the hunting community. Many here feel that Ted maybe lacking in that respect. You might apply this thread to your approach. You think that by arguing and bickering and insulting people that you are going to make us like Ted Nugent more. But you are wrong. It has quite the contrary effect. I am far more swayed by the people that posted in a calm, intelligent, rational manner than I am by your posts. Most anti or non-hunters will more like be swayed in this same manner than they would by beligerent out burst. You don't see the Fire Dept. fighting a building fire with fire. You see them fighting it with water. If you start a verbal sparring match with an anti all you made was an enemy and you furthered there resolve towards hating hunters. If you calmly and intelligently try to inform them, then they may not leave agreeing with you but they may leave respecting you!
