RE: SPIRIT OF THE WILD A WASTE OF A SHOW?
Well...my my my. Rcd567...Yes, I am a fan of Ted and his support for our hunting heritige. I too am college educated with a Bachelors Degree. I am well aware that criminal justice is very important to society, but, I am also well aware how easy it is to obtain a CJ degree compared to other degrees out there, but, their job is far more dangerous. I am not a teenager, but in my early thirties. I respect law enforcement officers to a high degree. In fact a good friend of mine was officer Sawyers who was recently killed in the line of duty by that slime Tim Berner. I feel your response to my posting to be very immature and lack luster of others in your profession. I feel you should take a deep breath and calm down. Besides, it sounds as if you were the one getting rilled up at my comment...you should heed your own advise on this matter, wisen up before you loose your cool and take it out on others. Ted, is one of the most supportive figures for law enforcement. As for danger...I was shot in the chest at the age of 13, an innocent bystander riding my bike when a drive-by shooting occured in northeast Detroit. As for Glenwood, Iowa...you have yet to see danger my friend compared to Detroit, MI area where Ted and I grew up. I can tell from your posts that you are not a backer of ol' Uncle Ted...that is your right. However, I do disagree with you on letting people like Ted have access to guns...he is a far better shot than most officers and millitary personel during their own drills (he has tons of money to allow him to shoot and practise whenever he wants). I was just getting at the fact that we should turn our attention toward fighting the anti's instead of preaching to ourselves. If we do that...then Ted wouldn't have to do it for us. That should make you happy. I like you using my quote...it actually shows how YOUR "perseption" comment you had made can be and is inaccurate, you perceived me as being a teenager...perseption isn't reality. Reality is reality. I knew you weren't ignorant sir...but if you support your comment..you could have been "perceived" to be ignorant on how Ted supports us. I think it would be best to not chastize others for how they act (as long as they do it legally), but to be thankfull to be able to disagree. I would never scream in the faces of the voters...as you have screamed in mine for my posting...I HAVE given profound information to voters in support of hunting and hunters rights. Like it or not...Ted supports hunting. We should embrace that and not criticize it. Yeah, his videos can be boring and show exotics...I do feel it is much better watching than any prime time show. But, where in the world did you see videos of Fred Bear for 25 cents?
