Which do you like better....Bear hunting or Deer hunting?

Well, since I don't do bears I'd have to say deer.
There are bears where I go in the Adirondacks and we have shot an occasional one with rifles while driving deer. Me, I wouldn't shoot one unless it was with my bow and he'd have to weigh at least 350. Can't think of anything less appealing than whacking some 200 pound baby or sow.

Well I hunt both and I love them both really. But I do perfer bear meat over deer. the bear meat has more flavor by far and both has their challenges. IMO bears are just a smidge harder to pattern than deer bears(in my own exp.) will not use the same trails year after year like the deer do on my property. We can bait for bears in my state.but they will not always hit the bait and if they do hit its generally late to shoot but when you have a chance at the last min. of legal hours all you see is a black blob and is very hard to find your spot. As with deer their is at least some kind of definition to their body.

Deer...simply because of availability. I cannot head down the road ten minutes and expect to see, not to mention shoot, a black bear...
