Deer hunting in bear country
I'm seeing less and less deer and deer sign where I hunt. What I am seeing is more bears and bear sign! of the 6 days this season (most am & pm) I've hunted, I've seen bears 5 days ( twice within 30 yds). The only deer I've seen was two days before the opener. Does bear activity drive out deer?
Yes, I'm hunting in NJ! I'm going to scout some different areas today for hunting tomorrow.
