You are the one who told us several times to stay on topic yet I tell you and you attack my fathering abilities.

When someone is hating someone out of ignorance then they need to be educated. Thats what I tried to do with you. You have thrown out several reason for your argument and they all fail on every single point. No seasons are lowerwed...fact. No higher accident rates....fact. No one is losing their tradition if they choose not to....fact. The xbow does not have the same range as a gun and is much more in line with a vertical bow...fact.

You lose on every point because you don't have a leg to stand on. What you don't want is someone to have it easier than you do. You think the xbow hunter has a huge advantage and that somehow changes the way you hunt. I find it odd you still hunt and use stick bows yet most everyone around you uses compounds. Doesn't this put you at the same disadvantage yet you still go out and enjoy your sport?

Look, I don't expect you to be able to keep up with my superior intellect, high IQ, and willingness to be open minded. You are who you are. You tried your best but in the end you fail but go ahead and keep on fighting those windmills like Don Quixote. Everyone has their giants to battle.

If this is how you actually teach your kids, yes. If you just tell em to lay down when there's something tough, yes. Is it? Or are you just being a jerk on here?

When someone is hating someone out of ignorance then they need to be educated.
And you are the all mighty educator? Who said you were? Is it more self proclaimed?

Thats what I tried to do with you.
Do you really hear yourself? Seriously?

Well, at least, you finally have changed your story to match up with the truth about range compared to a compound. You can thank me later for the tutoring.

You haven't shown the first fact. Only your personal opinion. You just don't get that do you? Just because you say its so doesn't make it so.

Look, I don't expect you to be able to keep up with my superior intellect, high IQ, and willingness to be open minded.
True, Maybe one day I can make paper too.

Always until I die. No wonder eastern Ky football usually dominates. Is everyone like that around there? They just lay down when any struggle comes??? Sad. I always heard Eastern Ky was totally different than the West. Guess we got the good end of the bargain.

Just so you will know...Im from Western KY. I know you like to label people as simple or idiots and such.

Not sure what you mean about the range of a compound thing. You are the one who said it was more like a gun and I alway said it's closer to the range of a vertical bow.

My opinions are based on facts and yours are based on ignorance. You will not change your mind even when you are proved wrong. When you lump all xbow hunters together as lazy scum you lost this argument. When you lump any group together and label them a certain way you are showing ingorance.

I like the way you think you are supior because you are a calculator jockey....You have no idea what my job entails or the amount of learning that goes into it. Another way you like to lump people together.

I know you are, thats why I referred to as Eastern Ky where I am from. Lightbulb doesn't burn too bright does it.

No, thats not how it was put out at all. I never said it had range simular to a gun. I challenge you to find where I said that. At least, you can show you have some integrity.

My opinions are based on facts and yours are based on ignorance.
On whose facts? The ones you choose to believe and internet searches?? Yep. Only person that throughout this whole thing that has posted anything close to be a fact is MO Archer, and one study from Indian Creek, MD with 5 arrowgun shooters as thier statistics. You just sit here and keep crying you know the facts.

Oh and I forgot that scientific article you posted from Whitetail something or other.

You will not change your mind even when you are proved wrong.
First you have to prove me wrong. You have yet to do that. You keep going around and around, same ole stuff. Opinion after opinion.

I like the way you think you are supior because you are a calculator jockey....You have no idea what my job entails or the amount of learning that goes into it.
I know, its tough being a papermaker. You better go hide, or NASA or KGB will come and kidnap you and lock you in a think chamber.

Oh, this is fun.

kybuckhunter...."I can't even get some to admit that xbows have very similar hunting ranges with a compound bow and not like a gun. "

Big country...."thats because they don't"

Looks like you caught in a lie....ouch.

You do know the rep that eastern Ky folks have don't you....I guess it must be true.

If you want to really cry....lets compare pay checks and then see how superior you feel. I know a lot of engineers and I know whay kind of money they make. It s good but not anything special. So keep on that high horse and tell yourself you are something special with that title. I bet you use the term engineer like a Dr. does....."Hi....Im Engineer Big Country....Im smart and better that you" . Haha.....if thats what it takes for you to feel important in life go for it.

They don't have simular ranges to a compound. Arrowguns have more. Not sure what more you want??

They go off to be fiber optic engineers and not papermakers? Yea, I heard that rep. Its true, you caught me. The rep we had was energy industry pays for the welfare of western Ky. Again, very true.

Hmm, lets do it? any w-2's in the last 15 years? Avg Engineer gets 150K in the MD area. Even heard tell that some engineers got 500K to a few million in stock opts in the tech boom. Just what I heard anyway.

But at least engineers can usually understand the simple concept of newtons law of motion.

You do know what similar means....? I didnt ask similar in appearance but range. That means most like which one of the two.

I caught you in a lie....just man up.

You started this whole argument saying the Md xbow was proposed when in fact it has passed.....You are arguing a topic in your own state and don't even know the laws there. How can you be trusted to tell anyone any "facts".

I have to admit I really like our little banter. It's been fun. You can keep up with me better than most ( must be the ky boy in you) although you still fall short. Maybe we can put a side bet on who gets the biggest buck or something this year....and I won't use a xbow either.

Ok, so when someone says "they don't". Do you understand what that means? Let tear this apart. The word they. They meaning arrowguns and compounds, you added guns. Thats your deal, not mine. The word "don't meaning do not. Put that together, and even a kid in 5th grade English understand the bow and arrowgun and gun do not have simular ranges.

Interesting, didn't see you annapolis for public opinion.

OK BC, lets do it this way so as to lower the wiggle room in the question.

In your opinion......When talking about ethical killing range of the crossbow....

Is the killing range of it closer to a compound bow or a high powered rifle? Pick one please.

Now tell me in your opinion, what is the ethical killing range of the average compound, crossbow, and high powered rifle (we will pick a 270)

compounds have FARTHER accurate shooting capability in the field - look no farther than western states and 70-110 yard shots ....... or farther

that's just the way it is with today's compounds, they're DESIGNED to shoot that far and that accurate
