David I don't have anything to be ashamed of.....other than being truthful (obviously to a fault). I've been bowhunting a little over three years....and I'll match what I've done with about anyone who's been at it a similar length of time. It's not a contest to me, though. I don't care how long you've been at it....or how many animals you've taken....

Once in a while....you're gonna have an "unknown". I don't belittle others for being honest about their misgivings. Give an honest effort towards a recovery (if indeed the animal is dowwn)....and I'll tell you "I've been there"....."I wish this wasn't happening to you".

If it makes you feel better/superior to kick a fledgeling bowhunter....then have at it. Some people feel better living their on-line persona instead of their REAL life persona. I have enough people from this site into my home and woods to put on airs. They know me. I'm fine.

Wow this went from some broadhead problems to a whole different thing...I agree that arrow placement is everything.. I have made the same shot with Wasp Jakhammers and have severed spines cut through ribs etc. It seems the Wasp has better penetration than the rage if you hit anything but flesh... My bigger problem is with someone telling me to send the heads back for a refund because the have a get your game or your money back bla bla bla...If I could find the heads to send back I would have deer in the freezer....Thats just my point.
