Spook him or make him mad
. Ifi were the only one allowed in there I would have certainly asked what's up.Would have done so in a polite manner.I would have at least got down after he passed by not noticing you and looked for his entry point and vehical to get the tag # and make of vehicaland pass it on to the landowner.

Oh yeah......lol.
This guy trespassed across at least 3 other properties to get to where he was........walking....toting a rifle. He finally saw me.....while he was in mid-dump. He'd squatted to take a dump about 30 yds from the base of the tree I was in.
Then.....he proceeds to berate me for doing everything from: Bowhunting.....to trespassing (
).....to killing too many deer......to threatening to call the game warden on ME....
"The Mad Dumper" will forever live....in infamy.

I don't know how many people have thought that no one else was supposed to be in the woods but them, only to find out later that the landowner had given other folks permission to be there too. Not to knock anybody here, but unless your name is on the land deed or hunting lease, you really need to be careful about such things. The second half of Rickmur's comment makes a lot of sense.

Coupleyears agomy brother and I were walking in at dark around 5am to get to our stands and ran accross a guy trying to actually get in my stand. haha. Worst part was he didnt hear us coming until we were basically on top of him. After a few choice words and my brother cutting his bow string, we havent seen him since. Best part is this is private land. 3miles off the road. And I know for sure he didnt have permission, because I own the land. I was more in disbelief then anything else. My brother and I both agree today cutting the guys bow string and getting "Tommy ToughNuts" on him probably wasnt the most mature thing to do. But opening day, my land, MY TREE! Temper tends to get the best.
