There is more bull hockey in this thread than in the ole barn yard. I couldn't begin to list all the misinformation being spread or the facts being twisted to prove someones misinformation. The beginning premise has no validity and add to that things like "go to Vegas and see what they shoot". They shoot aluminums there because they're fatter and cut more lines, no other reason.

TexasBowHunter,
I see what you mean. It did go in unfortunate directions. It wasn't my intent to start a "carbon vs aluminum" pea-ing match.

Yeah, I feel bad stating that as a fact now. I am learning a lot from this website, I respect you guys. I will think a little more and gain a little more experience before I open my trap next time. It mush just be a coincidink that the guys that I noticed were shooting the aluminum arrows were all terrible shots.

Its all good Swift!! These carbon/aluminum threads actually educate me on carbons being I don't know much about them.

Something good comes out of everything right??

aluminums just aren't as efficient for killing game as carbons are.
