I had the same problem with my double bull and wound up building a little chair that I use. It is adjustable on height and I mounted a camo cushioned boat seat to it on top of a swivel...works great and is super comfortable. I did buy a few and had to give up comfort with a lot of those....Good Luck...

Bob, here is the stool I use for blind hunting:

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0054453518254a&type=product&cm Cat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=ameristep&N=4887&am p;Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&amp ;Ntt=ameristep&noImage=0

I have gone through a lot of stools trying to find the right combination of comfort, portability, silence, and price. This has been the best thus far. As Matt said without a back in a blind the stools can get pretty uncomfortable. The biggest thing I had to combat was noise. Particularly getting in and out of the woods. This stool isn't completely silent during transport, but a couple of well placed pieces of tape did the trick. When set up it is very quiet and quite comfortable for its size.

Hope this helps.

Heres what I use. I can carry it by the strap on my back along with my blind. Easy to carry and reasonably comfortable. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_45374_350004003_350000000_350004000_350-4-3
I ended up getting that one. It came in last night. Looks good.

Thanks again.

This is my first year using a blind, so I may be lacking some knowledge.

I bought the blind (escape deluxe) mainly to use when taking my son (just turned 13) bowhunting (turkey) this year. I had him practice out the windows and we practiced setting the blind up in the dark, etc. No problems.

My only problem is seeing out of the blind. I can see if I kneel or huntch over a bit, but for long periods of time, it gets pretty uncomforatable.

Going into the woods, I carry the blind in the backback that came with it, and my son carries his bow, and our day backpack (decoys, lunch, etc).

So what I'm asking is what do you guys use to sit on that can be carried in and setup easy, quiet and fast to setup, also has to be lite. As you can see we already have a bunch of stuff (too much IMO) going into the woods.

Thanks,
BobCo

I think I will check one of those out. I like the way they fold up to a compact size. You can put it in a pack or a vest easily that way. I like the one I have, but it isn't the easiest thing to pack in and out if you are moving around a lot.
