I have gone through a lot of stools trying to find the right combination of comfort, portability, silence, and price. This has been the best thus far. As Matt said without a back in a blind the stools can get pretty uncomfortable. The biggest thing I had to combat was noise. Particularly getting in and out of the woods. This stool isn't completely silent during transport, but a couple of well placed pieces of tape did the trick. When set up it is very quiet and quite comfortable for its size.
