I'd bury my guns in the woods before I would give them up because the government told me to. And I do not even hunt with guns anymore, only my bow.

I think in many ways banning something for a governement is far more easier than getting people a proper education about it.
Alcohol for instance, softdrugs, guns, knives etc....

I agree with Remington girl, a better controlled way in purchasing firearms would help America deal with their problem.
I don't think crime has anything to do with it, it is just a big excuse both parties use.
Less guns in the proximity of unqualified users will mean less deaths or injuries....
Correct me if I'm wrong but in our little monkey country it worked !

Are you allowed to own a gun in Belgium?

You are here but its a strict process carried out by the police with background checks etc, and they work it took my dad 2 months just to be awarded a shotgun license.

I really do wish we could bring back hand guns but i know it wouldn't work herebecause there are too many idiots here that would just take the biscuit. Theres alot of government control here and I dont like it one bit. I'd like to trade some of America's values and vice versa.

I am not kidding Remington Girl. I work with juveniles that have committed murders, car jackings, rapes... all with firearms. I would not want to be a sitting duck when they came "knocking" on my door to hurt me or my family.

Remingtongirl,
With all due respect, I don’t think you understand our second amendment, but I could be wrong.
The second amendment has one purpose; to protect all the others. We cannot protect our freedoms without it, so we’re very eager to keep it around. The liberals use words like militia as an adjective to describe people who want to protect this amendment. But they forget that it was a militia that started this great nation.
Many also confuse the second amendment with hunting and fishing, and that’s just the way Hilary and the other donkeys want it. Hunting and fishing are a given. We have the right to keep arms so that we can form a fighting force to take back our country if needed. We’d rather not confuse that mission with hunting and settle for single shot .410 shotguns.
I’m glad to hear that you like the USA. So do I.
Respectfully,
KP

Samer here, we do need to go through a process before getting a firearm, you need to shoot at a range withthe weapon you want to buy or at least one of the same caliber, after passing a test you get a purchase receipt from the local police departement and with that you can go to the gunshop and buy the gun.
I think this is a good idea.....
Could be because you have a big ass country, you all so have more lunytunes running around.
As far as stupid young kids messing things up we do alright I think, besides the occasional racist killing we do ok........

He’s not kidding, and many countries have done this. However, I think we should simply shoot whoever arrives to take them. How long do you think it would take before they would decide to rethink their plans?

the reason why I have a bow is because of the fact that the police departement would issue a receipt of purchase fora glock 17 on my 18th birthday.
I got pissed and bought a pse and 12 arrows with Broadheads and went back to the police and asked them if I needed a permit for that.....
lucky for me you didn't at that time.....but the face the seargent made was priceless

I’m sorry man, and I’m not trying to sound hostile, but your post is riddled with assertions and generalizations about our country and our problems that are inaccurate.

I’d recommend that you go study world history. Starting around the beginning of the twentieth century would be good. Make sure you pay close attention to what America was doing during the 1940’s. After that, we’ll start comparing countries.

Then I think you should study American history; paying close attention to the declaration of independence and our amendments.

Then you should go look at some good statistics in regards to states that allow concealed carry permits and crime rates.

After you’ve done what I’ve suggested above, you’ll probably come back and edit your post and then we can talk.

Respectfully,

KP
